Neither product should be treated as universally certified
For G808, confirm that the integrated helmet and exact configuration satisfy the target country's standard, tender and worksite rules. For G901, retaining an approved helmet shell does not automatically approve the installed terminal: bracket compatibility, the mounting location and the combined assembly must still be evaluated. Does choosing G901 remove the need for PPE review?
No. G901 can let the customer retain a selected helmet shell, but the exact helmet, bracket, mounting location and combined assembly still need to satisfy the buyer's standard, tender and worksite requirements.
Is G808 certified for every overseas market?
No universal certification claim should be made. Confirm the exact product documentation against the target country, tender, authority and worksite policy before procurement.
Can G901 attach to any safety helmet?
No. G901 is designed for detachable installation, but the helmet model and suitable bracket must be confirmed. Sample testing should verify fit, stability, balance, worker movement and site acceptance.
Do G808 and G901 support the same software choices?
Both can be evaluated with a complete monitoring platform, enterprise integration, or a customer-owned APK and backend. Exact functions, interfaces, firmware and permissions remain model- and project-specific and should be confirmed in the POC.
Which product is usually easier for an organization with an approved helmet fleet?
G901 is often the more practical starting point because it can retain the selected helmet shell. This reduces the need to replace the fleet, but it does not remove bracket, mounting and combined-assembly review.

No. Compare the total installed and operated scope, including helmet or bracket requirements, batteries, charging, freight, replacement stock, software, integration, infrastructure and maintenance.
